Terms of Use

The rules for adding ideas and questions to the Forward Board. Short, plain, and the same for everyone. In force from October 31, 2026.

Who can post?

Anyone 13 or older, anywhere. Posting needs no account, name or email. By adding an idea, a question or a report, you confirm you are 13 or older and agree to these terms.

What publishes?

An idea publishes when it is about the current issue, civil, and free of: a private person's name, contact details (email, phone, handles), links in the idea itself (a source link has its own field), attacks on a party or its voters, and advertising. Anything else is held, and the board tells you why. New questions are read for fair wording before they publish.

What happens to what I post?

You keep the rights to your words. You give the Democratic Republican Party a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to display, store, reproduce and share what you post on this site and in summaries of the board, with or without changes for length or formatting that keep its meaning, for as long as it stays on the board. What people add is kept with its issue: when an issue is archived, its board stays readable.

Can something be removed?

Yes. Every idea has a Report button. Reported ideas are hidden while they are reviewed, and removed if they break these rules. We may remove anything that breaks these rules or the law, without notice. Because posting is anonymous, we cannot identify who posted an idea, and we cannot edit or delete one on request without the idea's address: send it through the corrections page and we will review it.

If you believe something on this site infringes your copyright, send a notice through the corrections page with the address of the material, your contact details, a description of the work, and a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized. We remove material that infringes.

Is the board a vote?

No. The board shows the range of where people land on ideas. It is not an election, a petition, a poll of record or an official vote, and nothing on it is delivered to any official. The Democratic Republican Party runs no candidates, takes no money, runs no ads and endorses no one.

Privacy

The board never asks your name, email, party or address. What it keeps is on the privacy page.
