Leave left and right at the door.
Education is our only priority.
Our kids need us to move forward. Together. Now.
Track Every Dollar
If they can track every dollar you make, you can track every dollar they spend on our kids.
$995 billion went to America's public schools in the 2023-24 school year. See where your state's money comes from, where it goes, and how your state spends its lottery money.
- From the federal government$115 billion
- From the states$450 billion

The AI education emergency
The clock is running.
A first grader this fall graduates in 2038. Elections come every two years. A school year never comes back.

The old fights
We have argued about school for generations. AI just changed the question.
Each old fight in the words of both sides, and beside it the question that matters now.
Teacher tenure vs results
What is a teacher for when AI can teach every lesson?

What is a test for when AI can see what every kid knows, every day?

What is a school when the best tutor fits in a pocket?
Both sides, and the new questionThe old fightPhones in class
What belongs in a student's pocket when the phone can talk back like a friend?

What is homework for when AI can finish it in seconds?
Both sides, and the new questionThe old fightHow to teach reading
How should a child learn to read when an AI tutor can coach every child, one on one?
Both sides, and the new questionLearn
AI teaches the lesson. Teachers teach the person.
An AI tutor can explain fractions a hundred ways at midnight. It cannot notice the kid who stopped talking in October, settle a fight at recess, or make a hard subject fun. The question is not teachers or machines. It is what each one is for.
The Forward Board
Add an idea. Slide it. Move one forward.
No sides. No yes or no. Every idea gets a range, from hold it back to move it forward, and the board shows where people land.
The board's top ideas appear here.
We have done this before
Together, and dug in. 1787 to now.
Some years both parties voted for the same law and the country moved. Other years nobody gave way, and the record shows what followed.
- Together: majorities of both parties voted yes
- Dug in: no settlement, and what followed

Who we are
A name from 1801
In the 1790s, Americans who organized around Thomas Jefferson and James Madison called themselves Republicans; historians call that party the Democratic-Republican Party. After the bitter election of 1800, the losing side handed over power, and Jefferson opened his first term with one line.
"We are all Republicans, we are all Federalists."Thomas Jefferson, first inaugural address, March 4, 1801. Avalon Project, Yale Law School
Democrats and Republicans, one party, with one priority: education.
